The Design Process
As a web design company with a long history we have in the past tried various different methods of website building, including Microsoft Front Page, Adobe Dreamweaver, Microsoft Expression, Joomla and Drupal. The internet has evolved a lot during the years and because of changes and the use of mobiles and iPads and Tablets, we have now chosen to build all our clients websites in Word Press; this is a world leading website builder tool.
We will install all the plugins that we deem are necessary for developing a good and responsive website.
We may include slideshow, gallery, contact forms and links to social media.
If you need some extra interactive services for your website, for example a event calendar, or specific form please ask and we will do our best to try and find this. We will also ensure that your site is GDPR compliant, and inform you of what actions you will need to take to assist in this matter.
Your website will be responsive website design (mobile friendly website) and work and be responsive on all devices.
A WordPress website can grow endlessly. You will be able to add as many pages as you like and whenever you like.
You will have access to the back-end and full administration right once it is launched, however we may lock down the design to ensure you do not delete any specific design code within the site, which would cause errors.
You will be able to make text/copy changes yourself on your pages if you want to, via a dedicated admin panel with your unique username and password.
You will be able to upload images and change the text on pages.
Once the website is built, we will hand over the website to you. This allows you to do easy updates and adding pages when you want for free, rather than relying on website companies in who charge for updating sections, text and images.
All our websites are built SEO ready, but it is important to remember that you will still have to do some promo work yourself, by ensuring that your keywords and text within the website is kept up to date, this can be done by using the blog or posts feature to keep the search engines up to date with relevant news.
UK Design Group can quickly serve any businesses, non for profit organisations, sport clubs, charities or community based organisation who wants a mobile friendly website to increase their online presence.
We will set up as many emails as you like and you will have a control panel that is very simple to use, this will enable you to add or delete emails when staff leave and new staff arrive.
If you an old and tired looking website that is not working well, not responsive and you are looking for a fresh start, send me a note and I get back to you asap.
